This GE full console dishwasher installs flush with cabinetry cutouts 23.5” x 34.5” x 24”. The built-in installation upgrades the look of any home kitchen with an upscale, premium seamless appearance. Its flat white door is easy to clean, and open downward exposing a standard size stainless steel tub.

 

For loading and unloading convenience, this dishwasher is equipped with an upper and lower dish rack with silverware basket and two foldable utility shelves. The upper rack features Tall-Over-Tall™ design with five positions. This means you can adjust the upper rack to accommodate tall or large items on the bottom rack. GE included fold-down tines in the rear of the dish rack, allowing you to secure delicate items like glasses and wine glasses during the wash cycle.

 

GE gives you complete control over the cleaning performance of the GDWF400VWW with six wash cycles and four options. The wash cycles include normal, rinse only, glasses, prescrub/prewash, China/Crystal, and last cycle memory. Its wash options include hi-temp wash, pots & pans, delay start (up to 24 hours), and NSF SaniWash.

 

The NSF SaniWash cycle uses high-temperature rinse cycles to kill up to 99.99% of common bacteria left behind by normal rinse cycles. This sanitation cycle is so efficient it earns NSF certification for effectively killing 99.99% of common household bacteria, germs, and allergens left behind on dishwasher and cookware. You will never have to boil another baby bottle again!

 

GE’s delay start option allows you to load the dishwasher when it is most convenient for you and program the dishwasher to start the cycle around your schedule. Now you can load the dishwasher after mealtime, and program the dishwasher to start after your family has finished bathing, or doing laundry.

 

This dishwasher delivers a near professional clean through the use of three wash levels and XtraClean sensor system. The sensor system monitors the soil level in the wash tub, adding water or time to the wash cycle to achieve optimal cleaning results.

 

To ensure your dishes are thoroughly dried after each wash cycle, the GE GDWF400VWW features a multi-wattage Calrod heating element with convection airflow system. The convection airflow system circulates the heated air throughout the stainless steel tub, delivering heated air evenly to each dish rack, eliminating water spots.

 

The impressive sound insulation package with induction QuietMotor keeps operations to a low 55 dBA. This dishwasher operates so quietly; you will hardly know it is running during each wash cycle.
