The elegant black glass-ceramic surface is the perfect complement to any kitchen décor. This smooth cooking surface features a flexible five element cooking surface with powerful Tri-Ring Element and convenient bridge element.

 

For your meal preparation convenience the cooktop offers one six in element with 1,500-Watt heat output, two seven inch elements with 1,800-Watt heat output, a Tri-Ring six/nine/twelve inch element rings with 1,000/2,500/3,000-Watt heat output, and handy warming zone with low 120-Watt heat outputs. When you are finished cooking on the smooth, upswept cooktop, cleanup is quick and easy. Grab a damp sponge or microfiber cloth, and a mild detergent to wipe the surface clean. You will be amazed by how quickly you can clean the kitchen, and get back to the things that matter most.

 

GE takes your cooking convenience a step further; the PCB980DFWW was carefully designed with two oven cavities, for a total 7.2 cubic foot baking, roasting, and cooking capacity. The lower oven cavity offers an impressive 6.2 cubic foot capacity PreciseAir Convection cavity, as the upper oven offers 1.0 baking cavities. You will fall in love with the convenience of being able to prepare two dishes at two different temperatures simultaneously.

 

The PreciseAir Convection system uses a fan installed in the rear of the oven to circulate heated air throughout the entire oven cavity, heating each rack, wall, and floor the same. No matter where you place your foods in the oven, or if you squeeze a seventh tray of chocolate chip cookies on the bottom of oven floor, you will receive the same even cooking, baking, or heating results as the rest of the oven.

 

To make your cooking, baking, and roasting experience even simpler, the GE PCB980DFWW features a glass touch control panel. The glass touch control panel responds quickly to the press of a button, adjusts the temperature of the elements or oven cavities quickly.

 

When you are finished using the oven cavity, cleanup is as simple as 1-2-3 thanks to the high-performance self-cleaning function. The self-cleaning feature uses high-heat temperatures to reduce spillovers and food particles to ash. This means you can ditch the harsh, smelly cleaning chemicals, and grab a damp sponge to wipe away the ash once the cycle has ended.
