Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS Double Wall Oven - Our Review   Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS Double Wall Oven, 30 in,  10.0 Cu.Ft, Total Capacity with Self Clean, Glass Touch Controls, Convection and Even-Heat Technology   The 30-inch Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS is a Stainless Steel Double Wall convection oven capable of cooking 10.0 cubic feet worth of food. It represents consumer-friendly modern technology, from digital programmable settings to patented convection features for precision and time-efficiency.   The Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS operates from its electronic program panel. Users simply select between the top and bottom-cavity icons in order to program each oven. When in use, the electronics display the oven's temperature, heat source and start time. This Kitchen Aid model also counts down if stop-time is more convenient for users. When the magic moment arrives, the KEBS209BSS informs users with a series of chimes or beeps. Simply touch the number matching any one of ten standard cooking temperatures. In addition, users can shut off (lock) the control panel.   The KEBS209BSS also features Kitchen Aid's SatinGlide™ rollout extension racks, a safe and convenient way to reposition food or remove it from the oven once. Users simply select BAKE, CONVECT BAKE or CONVECT ROAST in order to begin. A convection fan blows air through a high-heat element at the back of the oven, thus circulating air more evenly than an electric element oven. The only caveat is that owners must use magnetic cookware for the technology to succeed.     Temperature calibration delivers flexibility in both upper and lower ovens. In the event that food is cooking too slowly or too quickly, users can simply direct the Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS to adjust from the digital control panel.       High-temperature self-cleaning is featured in the Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS Double Wall oven. The self-cleaning cycle can reduce burning soil to powdery ash within three-and-a-half hours in "Quick" mode. With the "Regular" setting, two-speed cooling fans kick in to increase the air flow for maximum dissipation of hot air which is vented.   The Kitchen Aid KEBS209BSS Double Wall is available in three colours: black, white and steel grey. This model is covered by Kitchen Aid's full Canadian manufacturer warranty for one-year in-home repair (parts and labour included).
