The 16-inch diameter non-recessed glass turntable rotates your food in a circular motion around the microwave cavity. This constant motion prevents hot and cold spots from affecting the cooking progress of your food. As the food circulates, it receives a more even, consistent cook, for mouthwatering results.

To ensure mouthwatering cooking results every time, the LG LMC2055ST features sensor cook technology. Sensor cook technology uses built-in sensors to take the guesswork out of microwave cooking. This sensor system monitors the humidity level in the microwave cavity to make real-time adjustments to the cooking time.

LG gives you control over the microwave performance with 10 power levels, sensor touch functions, seven auto-cook menus, and an auto defrost. The 10 power levels allow you to select the appropriate cooking power for your food.

The auto cook menus combine preset cooking programs with the sensor cook system to determine the ideal time and power level to achieve perfect cooking results. This microwave offers several auto cook menu selections including bacon, frozen roll/muffin, fresh roll/muffin, beverage, chicken pieces, and hot cereal.

LG also equipped this microwave with an auto defrost and quick defrost function. The defrost function allows thaw frozen foods quickly, without sacrificing texture, shape, or flavor so you can continue with your meal preparation as planned.

During the cooking time, you can add time in 30 second intervals quickly and easily with the EZ on (add 30 seconds button). Thanks to LG you do not have to stop the cooking time, to correct the cooking time.
