The sleek design of the granite colored Maytag Bravos XL Series MVWB980BW upgrades the look of your laundry room with electronic control panel and SmoothClose glass lid. Its SmoothClose glass lid features hinges that close the lid slowly to make loading and unloading a breeze.

When the SmoothClose lid is open an extra-large 5.5 cubic foot capacity stainless steel wash basket, it revealed. This durable wash basket will not crack, chip, rust, or snag fabrics as you wash up to 21 towels per load. With Maytag® Commercial technology, the MVWB980BW is built for the long haul with commercial-grade components, such as corrosion-resistant springs, Direct Drive motor, and durable wash impeller.

Maytag gives you complete control over the cleaning power of your washing machine with 16 wash cycles several wash options. The wash cycles include active wear, Allergen, bulky items, clean washer with affresh, cold wash, color/towels, delicates, heavy duty, normal, Powerwash®, rapid wash, rinse/drain & spin, Sanitary with Oxi and steam, sheets, soak, and whites.

The wash options include add a garment, clean boost with heater, delay wash, end of cycle signal, extra rinse, fabric softener, pause, and water save spray rinse.

Maytag designed the MVWB980BW with PowerSpray technology. PowerSpray technology sprays water and detergent directly onto clothes in early in the wash cycle for optimal cleaning results. To take the innovative PowerSpray technology to the next level, it works in unison with the optimal detergent dispenser. By mixing the appropriate amount of water with the detergent and spraying onto fabrics at the right time, the detergent and other additives are distributed evenly throughout the load.

The advanced Powerwash® cycle works hard to battle the toughest, deepest stains through combining an extra wash action with a thorough rinse cycle. This powerful wash cycle is ideal for large loads, heavily soiled loads, and stained fabrics.

The cold wash cycle delivers the cleaning power of a warm wash cycle, with the energy efficient of a cold wash.

Maytag did not stop there. Taking the wash performance of the MVWB980BW above and beyond its competitors, this washing machine features a recirculation system. The recirculation system redistributes water from the bottom of the wash tub to the top, keeping detergent and additives distributed evenly during the wash cycle.

The Maytag Bravos XL is both Energy Star and CEEE Tier 3 3 certified, meaning it is one of the most energy efficient washing machines on the market. This washer uses 74% less water and 82% less energy than other models over the span of its life.

Deliveries in most areas are a white-glove delivery service.  Large appliances are delivered to room of choice, unboxed, and packing removed. Washers and Electric Dryers can be connected for an additional fee. Old appliances can be removed and recycled for an additional fee.
