Maytag Maxima YMED9000YR Front Load Electric Steam Dryer, 27 in, 7.4 cu.ft, with 20 Dry Cycles, Auto Refresh Steam Cycle, Static Reduce Option and Advanced Moisture Sensing
Evenly Dries Your Largest Loads
Quad baffles and Advanced Moisture Sensing combine to provide even drying on your large loads.
Based on testing of an 18-lb load.
Maytag Commercial Technology
Advanced Moisture Sensing
Maxima dryers use the Advanced Moisture Sensing system with three separate sensors, including moisture strips in the dryer drum, to evenly dry loads without overdrying to reduce the risk of shrinking.
Steam-Enhanced Dryer Cycles
Select dryers have a nozzle that releases a mist of water into the warm drum to create steam.
The feature helps remove wrinkles and odors from a small load of just-worn clothes, or prevent wrinkles from setting into a full load of dry clothing.
SoundGuard Stainless Steel Dryer Drum
This special stainless steel drum is made to help reduce the noise made by coins, zippers, belt buckles, buttons and other hard objects while tumbling.
High Efficiency Sensor Drying
7.4 Cu. Ft. SuperSize Capacity Plus
Auto Refresh Steam Cycle
Smooth out wrinkles and remove odors in as little as 15 minutes.
Steam is introduced into the dryer drum after several minutes of tumbling at a medium temperature.
The cycle ends with a brief cool down period.
Custom Refresh Steam Cycle
Touches up loads that have been left in the dryer too long.
Steam is introduced into the dryer drum after several minutes of tumbling at a medium temperature.
The cycle ends with a brief cool down period.
Direct Y-Connector Water Hook-Up
A solid brass Y-connector delivers water from the cold water inlet directly to the dryer.
It eliminates the need to fill a reservoir in dryers that feature steam-enhanced cycles.
Static Reduce Option
Steam is introduced at the end of the cycle to help reduce static in the load.
