Home appliance shoppers in Vaughan and Woodbridge Ontario choose Canadian Appliance Source first
We’ve been matching home owners, renters, home developers, interior designers, home builders and home repairers with the right refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stoves/ranges, microwave ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers for a decade and a half.
In that time, we’ve done everything we can to earn the reputation of a home appliance retailer known for selection, customer service and a genuine approach to home appliances that puts their future owners’ values at the centre of any decision.
First in selection
The list of home appliance brands we carry is more impressive and exhaustive than any other home appliance retailer because it’s a well-balanced mixture of established manufacturers and interesting up-starts. You’ll find home appliances from Samsung, LG, Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Bosch, Café, Frigidaire, Electrolux, JennAir, Monogram and more available in our showroom and on our website. You can see that it’s a global list and we’re proud of that. We support manufacturers and contributors the world over, and it’s exciting to see new advances come through our showroom every year.
Lots of other retailers that sell home appliances would probably be able to post the same brand list. But that’s where they stop. We dig deep into the brands we feature in our showroom and on our website to offer a range of price points and styles under each umbrella.
The prices you’ll find in our Markham/Woodbridge showroom and here on our website will satisfy anyone’s budget. What you’ll pay for home appliances at Canadian Appliance Source range from surprisingly affordable to notably high-end, and our sales staff are well-versed in explaining where the extra money goes for the higher-priced appliances. They’re also quite adept in finding the right lower-priced appliance to suit anyone’s threshold. You’d be amazed by how much value some home appliance manufacturers can pack into a reduced price. We know where to look to match a set of product features and benefits to a set of customer needs.
First in customer service
That set of customer needs isn’t simply arrived at on a whim. We introduced a staff training style that stresses the importance of getting to know the person or people who’ll be using the home appliance the most. By doing that, we’re in a much better position to recommend the right home appliances.
We’ll ask you about your values in general and what you gravitate towards. We’ll ask you about your values as they pertain to things you buy. While everyone answers this question very differently and there are no wrong answers, asking it is critical to getting inside a customer’s head to validate that what they said was their dream really is, in fact, the dream they want to be pursuing.
Then we’ll talk about your life more specifically: how you live it, how you make decisions, how you see your life in one year, two years, five years. Answers to these questions inform your decision-making and our recommendations; and knowing where you stand will make it easier for us to show you home appliance recommendations that improve and augment your current lifestyle.
Finally, we’ll talk about the space your new home appliance is going to live in. We’ll touch on the look and feel of the kitchen or laundry room, the size of the space and any plans you may have for changing it up this year or further into the future. This will keep us from showing you options that are non-starters.
Of course, we’ll also talk about your budget. We’ll give you an honest representation of what you can expect to get for what you’re willing to pay, and help you make decisions about the features you need to have and the benefits you’d be prepared to forego.
And through it all, we’ll talk to you like you’re not a home appliance expert because you’re not — nor should you be. That’s our job. We’ll explain each feature simply and relate it to your real life because numbers don’t matter nearly as much as actual implications.
For example, three extra inches of room in the fruit and veggie crispers probably doesn’t mean anything to you. But it might if we told you that the extra space could have a profound effect on your health and your overall enjoyment of food because you’d have more room to add new fruits and veggies to your diet. Maybe you’ll try fiddleheads or black radishes or kohlrabi? Maybe you’ll really like them and they’ll become a staple in your culinary repertoire?
Another example would be an oven with a convection bake feature. Again, the fact that convection moves the hot air around the inside of the oven means very little, but the added crisp it would give your pot roast or salmon or potatoes au gratin will mean a lot to your dinner guests.
An example from the laundry room would be a washing machine with multiple cycles. If you had a cycle specific to delicates, you might think about expanding your good-times wardrobe. It never hurts to shake things up a bit.
First in approach
We do things a little differently around here compared to other home appliance retailers.
One of the most striking differences is how we feel about the term “best brand,” in that we give it absolutely zero credence.
We don’t care what bloggers, reviewers, so-called experts and brands say about a particular fridge, oven, stove, range, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine or dryer. Quite frankly, it doesn’t matter what they think. All that matters is what you think and how your life is going to improve with your new home appliance. That’s why we prefer the term “best brand for you.” If it happens to be a well-known, household Canadian brand, great. If it’s an obscure European manufacturer, that’s great too. If you’re happy, we’re happy.
A first-choice location
Our showroom is at 7575 Weston Road (part of the 7/400 Power Centre). It’s become the natural first choice for a large percentage of home appliance shoppers in Vaughan, Ontario, Woodbridge, Ontario, Richmond Hill, Ontario, and the surrounding areas.
While the other three reasons mentioned above are primarily responsible for the quality of our reputation in Woodbridge and Vaughan, the rest of Ontario and all of Canada, the location of this particular Canadian Appliance Source retail store has a lot to do with its success.
Being in the giant retail park on the southwest corner of Highway 400 and Highway 7 puts the showroom in close proximity to a host of other retailers that together make up just about everything you’d want to incorporate into a day of errands. This list includes a Costco, a Nations Fresh Food and a Fortinos, a Best Buy and a Staples.
And if you need a moment to think about your home appliance plan, you can do that at one of the many restaurants in the area. You can pull up a seat at the Moose and Firkin Pub, order a plate at Parmigiana Sandwiches, class it up at Bâton Rouge Steakhouse or stretch out at Earl’s Kitchen.
What can you expect from a visit to Canadian Home Appliance?
First, you can expect to find parking because we have plenty of it. You won’t be circling around, wasting your time.
Second, you can expect to have time to browse the aisles. You won’t be immediately accosted by a sales rep. When you’re ready to talk, we’ll be there.
Third, you can expect that when you’re ready to talk to a sales rep, that they’ll speak to you in plain language and not try to confuse you or convince you with jargon.
Fourth, you can expect to find a home appliance, and maybe more than one, that perfectly suites your needs, wants and tastes. That’s been our promise since we started.
Fifth, you’ll start to think about home appliances differently, if you don’t already. You’ll begin to appreciate the difference a good home appliance can make, and you’ll seek out features you might not have either considered or even known about in the past.
Sixth, you’ll find value. This isn’t to say that your new appliance will be cheap, but you won’t feel “ripped off.” You’ll feel like the money you put out was well-spent, you’ll be confident in the purchase you made and you’ll be excited to install your new fridge, oven, stove/range, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and/or dryer.
And finally, seventh, you’ll be inclined to share Canadian Appliance Source with your friends. Because you love your friends and you want them to be happy. We’ll make them happy. But we’ll make you happy first.
See you in the showroom.
