About the CAS Quebec Recycling Program

Environmental responsibility is a key priority at CAS.

CAS is dedicated to promoting the recycling and reuse of household appliances and to simplifying the recycling process in the regions we serve.

To support this commitment, our Laval distribution center is available as a drop-off location for the safe and responsible disposal of household appliances.

Our recycling program works in coordination with Recyc-Quebec.

Environmental Impact

Reducing the environmental impact of appliances
CAS offers two responsible options:

A) Reusing a device means extending its life by keeping it in its original function. You may choose to repair it, sell it, or donate it.
If you decide to dispose of a functional device and entrust it to CAS, rest assured that we will ensure it is reused in an appropriate and responsible manner.

B) Non-functional devices are recycled with the support of our trusted partners. Harmful materials are safely removed to reduce environmental impact.

Using advanced recycling technologies, our partners are able to recover more than 92% of the materials from each device. All recycling is carried out locally in Quebec.

EcoFees

Eco-fees are included in the price of certain new appliances to support recycling programs such as CAS Recycle.

In accordance with government regulations, these fees are not displayed separately and vary depending on the type of appliance.
