This could be because they’re brand loyal and always have been. Or it could be because their neighbour has a particular brand of home appliance in their kitchen or laundry room and they want it too. Or it could also be that a piece of advertising worked so well on a customer that they wouldn’t dream of putting any other brand in their house, condo, apartment, chalet, cottage, summer home or place of business. 

Whatever your motivation for wanting a particular brand of home appliance, you’ll find a price that makes you happy. And within those price points, you’ll find a style that gels with the look you’re trying to create in your home. This is an important consideration because of the sheer size of most home appliances. It’s impossible to not notice most fridges or ovens when you walk into a kitchen. And you won’t pass over seeing a washing machine or dryer in a laundry room. So if the style doesn’t work with the room in question (be it because of colour or style), the whole room will feel off and you’ll feel that disconnect every time you enter the area or even glance in its direction. Many other places that sell home appliances sell a whole host of other items too, which means the sales reps in those stores have to know a little bit about everything. That’s not the case here because all we sell are home appliances, so our staff can spend every working hour focused on learning as much as they can about the brands we sell and how to maximize the features and benefits of every product.

And it’s not just the cursory information like “this fridge will keep a lot of food cold and fresh” or “this dryer will cut down on wrinkles.” Those are features; we train our teams to focus on benefits.

For example, the fridge that keeps a lot of food cold and fresh can also fundamentally change the way you eat. More room for fruits and vegetables can positively change your diet and make you and your family healthier. And that extra room in your fruit and veggie drawers could inspire you to buy new things at the grocery store, which could lead to a more diverse diet and more fun choosing recipes to make for yourself and your family. 

Paired with the right stove/oven combination, you could really break out of your culinary comfort zone with new ways to make your meals. Maybe you’ll start using that dutch oven you got as a wedding gift all those years ago? Maybe you’ll think about sous vide more once you have a really great range that lets you put a quality finishing touch on cooked meat or fish? Anything and everything’s on the table when you have the right kitchen appliances.

Food options in the area are good. Kings Cross itself has a Subway, a Swiss Chalet and a Burger King. And other quick-service restaurants are close by too. But Anjali’s dosa garden is up the road, and it might be the best Indian in Surrey.

While you’re here, you can get stuff done at the Superstore next door and the Shopper’s Drug Mart across the street.
