The BoschNGM8659UC 800 Series 36" gas cooktop brings professional‑level precision and sleek modern styling to your kitchen, combining powerful performance with intuitive control. With a generous 36‑inch width and five sealed burners, it offers ample room to handle everything from a single sauté pan to multiple large pots for family meals or entertaining. At the heart of this cooktop is FlameSelect® technology, which replaces the guesswork of traditional gas cooking with nine clearly defined power levels, allowing you to dial in repeatable, precise heat for everything from a rapid boil to a gentle melt. This level of control is a standout advantage over many standard gas cooktops that rely on vague high‑to‑low knob ranges.
Another signature feature is the dedicated OptiSim® burner, engineered with a wider and thicker design to diffuse heat evenly and minimize hot spots. This makes it ideal for simmering delicate sauces, melting chocolate, or holding foods at a low, steady temperature without scorching—tasks that can be challenging on typical high‑output burners. When you need serious power, the Dual‑Flame Power Burner delivers two concentric rings of flame that let you move effortlessly from a low simmer to a high‑powered boil, giving you both speed and finesse on a single burner.
Everyday usability and safety are enhanced by sleek front‑mounted knobs with integrated LED indicators that create a distinctive red light line whenever a burner is on and continue to signal residual heat after cooking. The full‑width, heavy‑duty cast‑iron grates form a continuous surface so you can slide heavy pots from burner to burner without lifting, while the low‑profile stainless‑steel design keeps spills contained and complements a wide range of kitchen styles. For easy cleanup, the grates are specially enameled to be dishwasher‑safe, saving time and effort compared to hand‑washing.
Whether you are upgrading a gourmet kitchen or designing a new space around premium appliances, the BoschNGM8659UC offers a compelling combination of precision flame control, specialized simmer performance, powerful boiling capability, and thoughtful safety and cleaning features that set it apart from many conventional gas cooktops in its class.
