The GEGPE12FGKWW top-freezer refrigerator is a smart choice for smaller kitchens, apartments, condos, or secondary spaces where you want full-featured performance in a compact footprint. With a streamlined 24-inch width, it fits comfortably into tight layouts while still offering a generous 11.6 cu. ft. of total capacity, thoughtfully divided between fresh and frozen storage so you can stock up on everyday groceries, meal prep containers, and frozen favorites without feeling cramped. Behind the clean white exterior and recessed handle, you’ll find a bright, well-organized interior highlighted by LED lighting that makes it easy to see items on every shelf, even in the back, while also using less energy and generating less heat than traditional bulbs. One of the standout advantages of this model is its ENERGY STAR® qualification, which means it’s engineered to deliver efficient cooling performance that helps reduce your monthly utility bills compared to many standard refrigerators in its class, all without sacrificing temperature consistency. Another key benefit is that this refrigerator is ADA-compliant, designed for easy operation and accessible storage, making it a practical option for a wide range of households and installation scenarios. Inside the fresh food section, three glass shelves (including adjustable, spillproof designs) and two clear crisper drawers help keep produce, snacks, and leftovers neatly arranged, while clear door bins maximize vertical space for condiments, beverages, and everyday essentials. In the freezer, a wire step-shelf and clear door bins provide flexible organization for frozen meals and bulk items, and the cabinet is equipped to accept an optional icemaker, giving you the convenience of automatic ice production if you choose to add it later. Reversible doors allow you to swing the hinges to either side, so the GEGPE12FGKWW can adapt to your kitchen layout rather than the other way around, and removable door gaskets make it easier to keep the seal clean and tight for optimal efficiency. Combining compact width, efficient ENERGY STAR® performance, ADA-compliant design, and the flexibility of an optional icemaker, this refrigerator delivers features often found in larger, premium models in a space-saving size that’s ideal for modern living.
