You should avoid using hard, abrasive cleaning products to keep the glass-ceramic surface smooth and scratch-free.

This exquisite cooking surface features four elements, including two six inch elements and two dual ring elements. The dual elements offer one 9” /12” element with 1,000/3,000-Watt heat output, and a 6” /9” element with 3,000-Watt heat out PowerBoil™ element. This TrueTemp™ oven heats foods evenly by alternating the heat source between the bake element and broil element, so you can rest assured you food receives the same even heat everywhere in the oven cavity.

The upfront controls of the GE JCSP41SVSS are easy to use, and offer a variety of convenient options. From this upfront electronic control panel, you can select convenient options such as an audible preheat signal, timer, delay bake, self-clean function, and more. This control panel is the central command center for the range.

Just when you through cleanup could not get any easier, GE designed the oven with a hidden bake element. The hidden bake element moves the bake element beneath the cavity floor. Not only does this provide you with more usable baking space, it prevents food from spilling onto the element and clogging the burners.

As a safety bonus, the GE JCSP41SVSS features a control lock option. You can use the control lock function to prevent the temperature of the oven and cooktop from being altered, or to prevent children from turning on the range for unintended use.
