The HAUSLANEUC-PS18SS-36 under-cabinet range hood brings professional-grade ventilation into your home kitchen with a sleek 36-inch stainless steel design that complements both modern and traditional spaces. Engineered for serious home cooks, this hood delivers powerful suction backed by dual motors, making it ideal for heavy-duty cooking techniques like frying, searing, braising, and high-heat stir-frying while helping to clear smoke, steam, and lingering odors quickly and efficiently. With its generous 36-inch width, it provides full coverage over standard ranges and cooktops, capturing fumes across multiple burners so your cabinets, walls, and ceiling stay cleaner over time. One of the standout advantages of the UC-PS18SS-36 is its innovative three-way venting system, which includes options for vertical 6-inch round ducting as well as vertical or horizontal 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular ducting; this flexibility allows the hood to adapt to most existing duct configurations, often saving time and installation costs compared with more limited models. Another premium feature is the buttonless touch control panel with a digital display and integrated kitchen clock, giving you a smooth, easy-to-wipe surface and intuitive access to six customizable fan speeds so you can fine-tune both suction power and noise level for everything from gentle simmering to intense wok cooking. Bright, energy-saving LED lighting with a warm color tone illuminates your cooking surface, and the GU10-style bulbs are changeable, allowing you to match the hood’s lighting to the rest of your kitchen if desired. For everyday convenience, the stainless steel baffle filters feature a deep-groove design that traps grease before it can drip back onto your cooktop or food, and they are fully dishwasher-safe, making maintenance as simple as running a load of dishes. A delay auto shut-off function lets the fan continue running briefly after you finish cooking to clear any remaining smoke and odors, then turns the hood off automatically so you don’t have to remember. Built with durability in mind and designed to handle frequent, high-intensity use, the HAUSLANEUC-PS18SS-36 offers a compelling combination of strong performance, versatile installation, and low-maintenance operation that sets it apart from many standard under-cabinet range hoods in its class.
• Chef Series design – part of Hauslane’s Chef Series, engineered to deliver professional-style ventilation performance for home kitchens.
• UC-PS18 under-cabinet configuration – model-specific design sized for standard 36" under-cabinet installations for a built-in, seamless look.

• Three-way versatile venting system – supports vertical 6" round, vertical 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular, or horizontal 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular ducting to match existing kitchen vents and simplify installation.
• Compatible with 6" round or 3-1/4" x 10" rectangular ducts – flexible duct size options reduce the need for major remodeling when replacing an older hood.
• Strong suction for heavy-duty cooking – designed to handle high heat, smoke, and grease from boiling, steaming, poaching, braising, frying, searing, and sautéing.
• Dual-motor efficiency – two motors distribute suction more evenly across the cooktop for better capture of fumes and airborne grease.
• Buttonless touch screen control panel – smooth, flat touch controls are easy to wipe clean and resist grease buildup better than mechanical buttons.
• Digital kitchen clock display – integrated clock helps you monitor cooking times without needing a separate timer.
• Variable 6-speed fan settings – lets you fine-tune suction and noise level from quiet simmering to maximum power for heavy frying.
• Delay auto shut-off function – keeps the fan running for a set time after cooking to clear lingering odors, then turns off automatically so you don’t have to remember.
• Dishwasher-safe stainless steel baffle filters – heavy-duty metal filters can be removed and placed directly in the dishwasher for easy, thorough cleaning.
• Deep-groove baffle filter design – channels and traps grease so it drips into the oil tray instead of back onto your cooktop or food.
• Stainless steel oil tray – collects grease and drips from the filters to keep the interior of the hood and your stovetop cleaner.
• Energy-saving GU10 LED lights – efficient LED bulbs provide bright task lighting over the cooking surface while using less energy than halogen.
• Warm 2700K light color – creates a cozy, warm-white glow that complements most kitchen lighting schemes and makes food look appealing.
• Changeable GU10 bulbs – standard GU10 base allows you to swap bulbs easily and choose different color temperatures if desired.
• Contemporary, sleek stainless steel design – clean lines and a modern finish coordinate with a wide range of cabinet styles and stainless appliances.
• Under-cabinet 36" width – sized to fit over standard 36" ranges and cooktops for full coverage of the cooking area.
• Low-profile housing – compact 8-1/8" height helps the hood fit under most standard cabinets without major modifications.
• Low noise operation (approx. 1.5–7 sones) – offers quieter settings for everyday cooking and higher power when needed, balancing comfort and performance.
• Standard 120V plug-in connection – simple electrical hookup without hardwiring in many installations (check local codes).

• 2-year limited warranty – provides coverage on parts and labor for added peace of mind.
• Lifetime warranty on motors – long-term protection on the motor assembly underscores durability and reliability.
• Ducted ventilation only – designed for use with external ducting to exhaust air outside for maximum odor and moisture removal.
• Grease management system – combination of baffle filters and oil tray helps reduce grease buildup on cabinets and walls.
• Improved indoor air quality – helps remove smoke, airborne grease, and cooking fumes to create a cleaner, healthier kitchen environment.
• Ideal for everyday to heavy-duty cooking styles – suitable for households that cook frequently, including high-heat and high-grease recipes.
