Transform your kitchen into a true culinary workstation with the JennAir®JGCP748HM gas rangetop, a professional-style 48‑inch built-in cooktop designed for serious home chefs who demand restaurant-level performance and refined design. Spanning a generous 48 inches in width, this rangetop offers an expansive cooking surface that seamlessly integrates powerful burners, an integrated grill and a premium griddle, giving you the flexibility to sear, sauté, simmer, grill and griddle all at once. At the heart of this unit are high-output dual-stacked sealed brass burners, including a commanding 20,000 BTU PowerBurner that delivers intense heat for flash frying and wok cooking, yet gracefully turns down to a delicate simmer for sauces and chocolates. This dual personality—ferocious power paired with precise low-heat control—is one of the defining advantages that sets this model apart from many standard gas cooktops.
Another standout feature is the chrome-infused griddle, engineered for both performance and easy maintenance. Unlike typical plated griddles, the chrome-infused surface is designed to resist sticking and staining, allowing you to cook everything from pancakes and eggs to smash burgers and teppanyaki-style dishes with impressive heat consistency and quick cleanup. Complementing the griddle is the integrated grill, which brings authentic indoor grilling to your kitchen year-round. With powerful BTU output and heavy-duty cast-iron grates, the grill section delivers even, searing heat for steaks, chops and vegetables, so you can achieve those coveted grill marks and smoky flavors without stepping outside.
The cooktop’s continuous cast-iron grates form a single, sturdy platform that makes it easy to slide heavy pots and pans from burner to burner, while the distinctive Halo-Effect knobs provide both style and function, glowing softly to indicate when a burner is in use. Electronic ignition with Flame-Sensing™ reignition adds a layer of confidence, automatically relighting the flame if it’s ever blown out by a draft. Altogether, the JennAir®JGCP748HM combines professional-grade firepower, specialty cooking zones and sophisticated design details into one commanding centerpiece, ideal for gourmet entertainers and passionate home cooks who want a luxury rangetop that truly goes beyond the ordinary.
