The Spill Control Shelves are designed with beveled edges, allowing each shelf to contain up to 12 ounces of liquid. This means, when an accident spill occurs inside the refrigerator cavity, you will not open the refrigerator to discover a giant mess being spread throughout the refrigeration compartment.

KitchenAid’s bottom freezer drawer offers a 6.45 cubic foot capacity frozen food cavity. To help you organize and prioritize all of your frozen favorites, the freezer drawer offers an upper and lower wire basket. When the sensors detect a significant change in the temperature, the temperature management system activates the compressor automatically, quickly returning foods to their ideal temperature.

To take this cooling performance a step further, the humidity-controlled crisper drawers features the Preserva® produce preserver. The produce preserver uses a filter to remove ethylene gas from the compartments. Ethylene gas causes fresh produce to spoil sooner rather than later. By removing the ethylene gas from the humidity-controlled crisper drawers, your fresh fruits and vegetables will last days longer.
