Meet the **LG** **WM3470CW** front load washer—built for busy households that want fewer loads, better fabric care, and dependable performance in a clean, modern design. With a generous Canadian-rated 5.8 cu. ft. mega capacity packed into a space-smart 27-inch width, this washer is made to handle everything from everyday essentials to bulky items like a king-size comforter, helping you finish laundry faster without sacrificing wash quality. At the heart of the WM3470CW is LG’s 6Motion™ wash technology, a standout feature that uses multiple wash motions to tailor cleaning action to different fabric types, delivering a more thorough clean while being gentler on clothing than many conventional washers. Another advantage you don’t always get in similarly priced models is the Inverter Direct Drive motor design, engineered with fewer moving parts to reduce vibration and noise while supporting long-term durability—ideal for open-concept homes, second-floor laundry rooms, or anyone who prefers a quieter wash day. Inside, the NeveRust stainless steel drum adds a premium touch that also matters for performance: its smooth, durable surface helps resist chips and nicks that can snag fabrics over time, keeping your wardrobe looking newer, longer. When life gets hectic, Smart Diagnosis™ adds extra peace of mind by helping you quickly troubleshoot issues using your phone, so you can identify error codes and speed up service support without unnecessary guesswork. Efficiency is also part of the package, with **ENERGY STAR®** certification designed to help reduce energy use compared to standard requirements, making it a smart choice for households looking to balance performance with responsible consumption. Altogether, the **LG** **WM3470CW** delivers the kind of capacity, fabric-friendly washing action, and confidence-boosting reliability features that make it feel like an upgrade from typical front-load washers—without complicating your routine.
• LG 6Motion™ Technology – uses up to six different wash motions to help deliver a thorough clean while being gentler on fabrics. • ColdWash™ option – helps provide warm-water cleaning performance using cold water to save energy. • Smart Diagnosis™ – helps troubleshoot issues by identifying error codes and assisting with faster service support. • NeveRust® Stainless Steel Drum – stainless-steel drum helps resist rust and helps prevent chips/nicks that can snag fabrics. • TrueBalance™ Anti-Vibration System – helps reduce vibration and noise for steadier, quieter operation. • Inverter DirectDrive® Motor – direct-drive design with fewer moving parts helps reduce noise/vibration and improve long-term durability. • ENERGY STAR® Certified – meets ENERGY STAR efficiency standards to help reduce energy use versus standard models. • Mega Capacity (5.8 cu. ft.) – large Canadian-rated capacity helps wash more items per load (including bulky bedding) to save time. • Front-load washer design – tumbles clothes through water for efficient cleaning with typically lower water usage than many top-load designs. • 27-inch standard width – fits many common laundry cutouts while still offering high capacity. • ADA Compliant – designed to meet ADA guidelines for accessible operation/installation in compatible setups. • Dial + Touch LED controls – combines a central cycle selector with touch buttons and an LED display for clear operation. • Door Lock indication – shows when the door is locked for safety during operation. • Control Lock (Child Lock) – disables controls during operation to help prevent accidental changes. • Delay Wash (3–19 hours) – lets you schedule a cycle to start later for convenience or off-peak energy times. • LoadSense – senses load characteristics to help optimize wash operation. • Automatic water level – adjusts water use automatically based on the cycle/load needs. • Foam detection system – helps detect excess suds and adjust operation to improve rinsing and performance. • Vibration sensor – monitors vibration to help maintain stable operation. • Stainless Steel Slim Lifter – drum lifters help tumble clothes effectively while aiming to reduce fabric wear. • Embossed inner drum – textured drum surface helps improve wash action while being gentler on fabrics. • End-of-cycle signal – alerts you when the wash is finished. • Extra Rinse option – adds rinsing to help remove detergent residue (helpful for sensitive skin or heavy soils). • Pre-wash option – adds a prewash stage to help loosen heavy soil before the main wash. • Rinse + Spin cycle – rinses and spins without a full wash cycle (useful for quick refreshes). • Spin Only cycle – spins out water without washing (useful after hand-washing or extra draining). • Multiple spin speed levels (5 levels) – lets you choose higher spin for faster drying or lower spin for delicate items. • Multiple soil levels (3 levels) – adjusts wash intensity based on how dirty the load is. • Multiple temperature selections – supports a range of temps (Tap Cold / Cold / Semi Warm / Warm / Hot) to match fabric care needs. • Leveling legs – helps stabilize the washer on uneven floors to reduce movement and noise. • 10-year limited warranty (Direct Drive motor) – added long-term coverage on the motor for peace of mind. • Compatible with LG SideKick® pedestal washer (optional) – allows adding a separate pedestal washer (sold separately) to wash small loads alongside main loads. Note: This WM3470CW (Canada) configuration does not include Wi‑Fi/ThinQ, TurboWash/TurboWash360˚, or Steam features.
