Upgrade the comfort and convenience of laundry day with the GE GFP1528PTDS laundry pedestal, a smart accessory designed to pair beautifully with compatible 28-inch laundry appliances while adding both ergonomic height and hidden storage. Built as a sturdy 16-inch pedestal, it raises your washer or dryer to a more comfortable working level, helping reduce bending and strain when loading, unloading, or transferring clothes. With an overall width of 28 inches, it’s sized to align cleanly under many full-size units for a built-in, finished look that makes your laundry space feel more intentional and organized.
What sets this pedestal apart from many basic risers is that it doesn’t just lift your appliance—it adds a full, integrated storage drawer that keeps essentials right where you need them. The drawer is ideal for detergents, stain removers, dryer sheets, delicates bags, and other frequently used accessories, and it’s designed with an adjustable divider so you can customize the interior layout instead of letting items slide around. For smoother, more premium everyday use, the drawer rides on stainless steel ball bearings, allowing it to glide open and closed with less effort than typical roller designs—especially helpful when the drawer is loaded. The drawer is also spill resistant, adding extra peace of mind for liquid detergents or boosters, and it supports up to 25 lb capacity for practical, real-world storage.
Finished in Carbon Graphite, the pedestal adds a modern, coordinated appearance that complements darker appliance finishes and helps your laundry area look polished rather than purely utilitarian. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with the necessary installation parts included, so you can get the pedestal in place and start enjoying the added height and storage without hunting for extra hardware. If you want a cleaner laundry setup with better reach, better organization, and a more built-in feel, the GE GFP1528PTDS pedestal is a simple upgrade that delivers daily benefits you’ll notice immediately.
