The HaierHMV1472BHS over‑the‑range microwave is a smart space‑saving solution designed especially for compact kitchens that still demand full‑size performance. With a streamlined 24" width, it fits perfectly above narrower ranges and in galley layouts where every inch counts, yet it still offers a generous 1.4 cu. ft. capacity so you can comfortably reheat family‑size leftovers, steam vegetables, or pop a full bag of popcorn without feeling constrained. Behind its clean stainless‑steel exterior is a powerful 1,000‑watt cooking system paired with advanced sensor cooking technology that automatically adjusts time and power for popular foods, helping prevent overcooked edges and cold centers while taking the guesswork out of everyday meals. Unlike many compact over‑the‑range models, this unit integrates a robust 300 CFM ventilation system with a hidden vent and charcoal filter, so it not only clears smoke, steam, and lingering odors from your cooktop but also keeps the front of the appliance looking sleek and uncluttered. The combination of ducted or non‑ducted installation options gives you flexibility during remodels or in older homes where exterior venting may not be practical. Inside and underneath, bright LED interior and surface lighting illuminate both your dish and the cooking surface below, making it easier to monitor food and work on the range without relying on harsh overhead lights. Glass touch electronic controls with an easy‑to‑read LED display provide a modern, minimalist look while giving you quick access to ten power levels, sensor presets, timed defrost, and convenient one‑touch options like Add 30 Seconds. A 13.6" turntable maximizes usable space, rotating dishes for more even results and removing easily for cleaning. Thoughtful details such as the left‑swing door, integrated handle design, and color‑coordinated control panel help this microwave blend seamlessly with contemporary stainless‑steel appliance suites. Whether you’re outfitting a condo, accessory dwelling unit, or simply upgrading a smaller kitchen, the HaierHMV1472BHS delivers the premium features—sensor cooking, strong 300 CFM ventilation, hidden vent styling, and bright LED lighting—that are often reserved for larger, more expensive over‑the‑range models, all in a compact footprint that doesn’t compromise on everyday convenience.
