Bring a clean, built-in look to your kitchen without giving up the convenience of a countertop microwave with the Panasonic NN-TK732S Microwave Trim Kit. Designed to convert select Panasonic 1.6 cu. ft. countertop microwaves into a sleek built-in installation, this trim kit helps reclaim valuable counter space while delivering a polished, custom-finished appearance that blends beautifully with modern cabinetry. With an outside width of 30 inches, it’s an ideal solution for homeowners and remodelers who want the upscale style of a built-in microwave wall niche while keeping the flexibility and performance of a compatible countertop model.
What sets the Panasonic NN-TK732S apart from many generic trim frames is its complete, purpose-built ducting system that surrounds and supports the microwave inside the cabinet opening. Rather than being just a decorative faceplate, it includes a trim frame and integrated duct components that help properly encase the unit for a more secure, professional fit and a more finished look around the edges. The stainless steel finish adds a premium touch that coordinates easily with other stainless appliances, helping your microwave installation look intentional and high-end instead of “added on.”
Installation is also designed to be straightforward for a careful DIYer or installer, using common tools such as a measuring tape, pencil, Phillips screwdriver, and a small drill bit. Once installed, the trim kit creates a stable, built-in presentation while maintaining the microwave’s everyday accessibility. For capacity planning, this trim kit is intended for use with compatible Panasonic 1.6 cu. ft. microwave models, making it a smart choice for kitchens that need generous interior space for family meals, reheating, and larger dishware while still fitting a standard 30-inch built-in opening aesthetic.
If you’re aiming for a seamless cabinet-integrated microwave setup with a durable stainless finish, a true built-in style conversion, and a kit engineered specifically for select Panasonic models, the Panasonic NN-TK732S is a refined upgrade that delivers a noticeably more custom result than one-size-fits-all alternatives.
