The ThermadorSGSXP305TS gas cooktop brings professional‑grade performance and refined design into a compact footprint, making it an ideal centerpiece for serious home cooks who don’t want to compromise on power or precision. At approximately 30 inches wide, it maximizes usable cooking space with five burners arranged to give you the flexibility of a larger cooktop, including a commanding center burner that delivers up to 18,000 BTU of heat for rapid boiling, intense searing, and fast stir‑frying. What truly sets this model apart is its patented Star® Burner design: instead of a traditional round burner, the unique five‑point shape offers more flame ports and more even heat distribution across the bottom of your cookware, helping to eliminate cold spots and reduce cooking times while maintaining precise control. For delicate tasks, the ExtraLow® Select simmer burners provide ultra‑gentle heat with multiple low settings, cycling the flame on and off to keep sauces, custards, and melted chocolate at a steady temperature without scorching, so you can leave a pot on the burner with confidence. Cleaning is also thoughtfully engineered thanks to the raised Pedestal Star® Burners and QuickClean Base®, which create enough clearance for a sponge or cloth to glide underneath, while the smooth porcelain maintop helps contain spills and wipes down quickly after a busy dinner service. Continuous cast‑iron grates allow you to slide heavy pots from burner to burner without lifting, and the progressive illuminated light ring around each knob provides an elegant visual cue that a burner is in use, enhancing both safety and style. With its sleek stainless‑steel surface, robust metal control knobs, and a width designed to fit standard 30‑inch cutouts while offering the capacity and flexibility of a larger cooktop, the ThermadorSGSXP305TS delivers a premium cooking experience that stands out in both performance and everyday usability.
