The elegant black Frigidaire FGIC3067MB induction cooktop brings style and flexibility into the kitchen. This 30-inch induction cooktop installs flush with your countertop, creating a sleek, sophisticated look, as the four elements offer the power and flexibility you need to create a delicious family meals. With induction cooking, you can reduce your energy bills up to 70% while cooking the same power and heat you are accustomed to.
The smooth black ceramic glass adds a flair of elegant to your kitchen with its seamless installation. Its smooth surface allows you to clean spills and splatters quickly and easily with a microfiber cloth and mild soap. With induction cooking, the cooking surface itself remains relatively cool, preventing spills from burning onto the cooktop.
Induction cooking uses electromagnetic induction instead of thermal conduction for heating. These cooktops are equipped with cooper coil wiring under the cooktop, allowing alternating electric current to pass through, resulting in an oscillating magnetic field. Once the cooktop is turned on, a ferrous pot or pan must be placed on the cooktop for the element to be activated. When a metal pot is placed on the cooking surface, the magnetic field is completely.
Once the heat source is activated, the cooktop heats the pot or pan directly, leaving the cooktop surface relatively cool. Keeping the cooking surface cool prevents spills and splatters from baking onto the cooking surface, making cleanup a breeze.
To determine whether or not your pots and pans are compatible with the induction cooktop, try to stick a magnet to the bottom of the pan. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is suitable for an induction cooktop.
Induction cooktops are excellent for any household with children. Due to the need for the ferrous cookware, children are less likely to activate and burn themselves on the cooktop.
The cooktop setup:
Left front element: 7-inches with 1800/2600-Watt output
Left rear element: 8-inches with 2300/3200-Watt output
Right front element: 10-inches with 2500/3400-Watt output
Right rear element: 6-inches with 1450/2000-Watt output
Frigidaire designed this cooktop with exceptional temperature control. This cooktop allows you adjust the heat with great precision than gas or electric cooktop. In fact, the heat can be adjusted for melting chocolates or producing a rapid boil.
When the cooktop is on, hot surface indicators illuminate to alert you the surface is hot. Knowing when the surface is in use, or contains residual helps prevent accidental burns from occurring.
The energy savings offered with induction cooking is stupendous. Induction cooktops are 70% more efficient than gas cooking, and 20% more efficient than electric appliances. Not only will you watch your utility bills fall, but you will also be doing your part to help the environment.
If you are shopping for a cooktop to install over a single oven, the Frigidaire FGIC3067MB induction cooktop should be considered. This beautiful, black ceramic glass cooktop adds a flair of elegance to your home while providing the power and flexibility you need to create mouth-watering culinary masterpieces at home.
