The KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS electric convection oven is a versatile addition to domestic cooking. It spans two feet with 3.1 cubic feet of space. Its fully-digital control panel belies the fact that this appliance is designed with modernity in mind. The panel's full-sized control keys span across the top of the oven for ease of use. From technological cooking features - such as convection cooking and a thermal broiler to self-cleaning - the KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS is meant to satisfy multiple culinary projects in small kitchens.

Pragmatic oven users are rest assured that this stainless steel wall oven comes with all the expected features: control lock, audible signal and timer (including the capacity to start and stop the timer). Inside, the KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS holds three metal racks with five possible positions. This  KitchenAid™ allows users to raise or lower cooking temperatures by up to 35 degrees (Fahrenheit) in either direction. Its pre-set temperatures range from a low of 170 degrees (F.) to 450 degrees. The KEBC147VSS can ably serve as a secondary oven in a larger kitchen as well.

Bake roast or broil: the KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS can handle them all. Cooks can broil their creations using the KEBC147VSS econo-broiling setting. This way, the inner and outer elements heat up for energy savings with results that are similar to outdoor grilling. Temperature management is key to convection cooking, and that is the case with the KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS as well. A heating element is hidden behind a baffle, so that intake air can be distributed evenly throughout the oven. The convection settings can be utilized to broil or bake. Bread baking is also just a couple of control settings away (two proofs are recommended in this oven).

The KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS features self-cleaning with a caveat. The process of heating and cooling porcelain on steel can result in discolouring, loss of gloss, hairline cracks and popping sounds.

The KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS electric convection oven uses 12-volt, five-watt (maximum) halogen lights inside.

KitchenAid™ backs the KEBC147VSS model for one year from date of purchase on factory-specified parts and labour to repair defects, provided that "... this major appliance is operated and maintained according to instructions attached...."  The manufacturer backs the electric elements and control system parts from years two through five. There is a ten-item list of ten items not covered by warranty, so shoppers should check the KitchenAid™ KEBC147VSS warranty prior to purchase.

• Closed-Door Thermal Broil with Maxi and Econo Settings offer high-speed, adjustable broiling performance for large or small quantities   
• The Sabbath mode feature makes it possible to use the range on the Sabbath and other religious holidays without having to turn it on. Tones, lights and error messages are over-ridden, and a set temperature can be maintained for extended periods of time.   
• The temperature probe in our convection oven makes it easy to get perfect roasts every time. Set the internal food temperature and insert the electronic temperature probe. Once the desired temperature is reached, the oven will turn off.
