The LG™ LMX21986ST 20.5 cubic foot refrigerator is a high-end, counter-depth stainless steel French door model with an abundance of technology-enhanced features. It may store food, but the LG™ LMX21986ST does so with convenient and advanced style.

 

This LG™ model has plenty of space. The refrigerator section features 14.8 cu. ft. of space, while the freezer section holds 5.7 cu. ft. of storage. Display and temperatures are powered by LED technology, and the LG™ LMX21986ST is a frugal Energy Star appliance (estimated power usage: 527 kW/year).

 

The LG™ LMX21986ST refrigerator's technology begins on the front door and runs deep into its most precise levels of operation. Users can get a clean glass of water from the outside, while the refrigerator automatically produces ice for the bin inside.  From its water filtration to its LoDecibel™ operation, this model designed for care-free quality maintenance. The LG™ LMX21986ST contains five temperatures sensors which regulate not only the thermometer, but the humidity in the crisper. Its smart cooling, multi-air flow technology turns refrigeration into more of an art than in bygone times.

 

The fridge itself is a demonstration of smart shelving design. The LG™ LMX21986ST has three slide-out shelves formed of spill-protected tempered glass. There are also two humidity crispers and one bonus drawer. The most static fixture in this LG model appears to be its only folding drawer. The refrigerator door itself contains a dairy bin, dairy corner and six shelves per bin (two adjustable gallon-sized included). Shelves are adjustable upon standard metal brackets. Space and temperature were clearly top-of-mind in the design of the this model. The LG™ LMX21986ST freezer is divided into two drawers with ice bin.

 

Shoppers should note that the 36-inch LG™ LMX21986ST French Door refrigerator requires significant assembly. This need not be a deciding factor, but users will need some acumen with instruction and light tools in order to build this stainless steel fridge out of its multiple boxes.
