Four Hot Surface Indicator Lights - Each heating element has its own "hot surface" indicator light. These four lights let you know which element is too hot to touch, even after the element has been turned off.

Cooktop Lock-Out Capability - You may lock the cooktop controls to prevent unintended activation or prevent use by children.

2 Ribbon, 7" Heating Elements - With ribbon heating elements, the heat comes from brightly glowing elements positioned beneath the smooth surface. Even heat is directed straight up to the pan for high speed heat-up. Provides a quick "on" with a bright visual response.
