When you open the beautiful chrome rim door, the durable 4.2 cubic-foot capacity Never Rust stainless steel drum to handle achieve outstanding drying results. The Never Rust stainless steel drum will not rust, crack, chip, or snag your laundry as tumble dries your clothes with Sensor Dry technology. This stunning drum will last for years and will look as beautiful as the day you bought it for many years to come.
 
LG’s innovative Sensor Dry system uses built-in sensors to monitor the moisture level in the drum during each of the 9 cycles. When the unit senses the time or temperature needs adjusting, it automatically adjusts the time and temperature for optimal fabric care.
 
The 9 drying programs offered by the LG DLEC855W compact dryer include cotton, mixed fabrics, quick dry, bulky item, wool, delicates, sportswear, cool air, and warm. Its 10 drying options include gentle, damp dry beep, crease care, time delay, custom program, drum light, child lock, more time, less time, and wrinkle care.
 
The wrinkle care option helps reduce wrinkles from setting into your clothes at the end of the drying program, eliminating ironing from your household chores. Imagine how much time you could save each week by simply eliminating ironing from your laundry routine!
 
As a bonus, LG included an end of cycle beep to alert you when your load of laundry is completely dried. You will not go check your laundry to discover the cycle still has 15 minutes left.
