Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS Refrigerator - Our Review

The Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS Refrigerator is a 19.0 cubic-foot, free-standing stainless steel model with 22.4 square feet of shelf storage capacity. This standard consumer model meets general food storage needs with an industry-standard array of mainstream features: "Sabbath" mode, temperature alarm and LED lighting.


The IQ Touch™ Electronic Control unit is a simple, functional way to configure cooling settings from inside the Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS Refrigerator. Users can simply raise or lower temperatures by pressing the plus (+) or minus (-) keys on the control pad. IQ Touch™ features three indicator lights to warn of power failure, door ajar or air filter replacement time. Users can very easily lock the control panel or adjust alarm settings with the simple press of a button.


Storage bins are sized to fit the vast majority of refrigeration needs. The Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS comes three two-litre adjustable door bins, three adjustable glass shelves, condiment shelf and a tall crisper drawer (containing dividers and bins) at the bottom. A dairy door bin sits at the top of the unit, while a cool zone drawer makes slight room in the middle for luncheon meats, spreads, cheeses and other deli items. The Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS emphasizes bracket construction, which allows users to conveniently customize storage compartment placement.


The Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS comes with certain installation requirements. As with all fridges, this one needs assembly. However, users only deal with the attachment of one door. In addition,  installers must allow one inch of space at the back and three-eighths of an inch to each side of the unit's 32-inch frame. The Pure Advantage air filter can easily be changed (every six months recommended) from behind one of the two-litre door bins.


Cleaning is also easy. Users should use soap-and-water or baking soda-and-water for all areas except the stainless steel exterior and handles. For those, users can utilize stainless steel cleaners or ammonia. However, never use chloride to clean stainless steel. It seems only fitting that buyers should think "simple" when cleaning the Electrolux™ EI32AR65JS refrigerator.
