The FrigidaireGCCG3048AS 30" gas cooktop brings professional-style performance and sleek modern design to your kitchen, all within a compact 30‑inch width that fits seamlessly into most standard cutouts. Crafted in stainless steel with continuous cast‑iron grates, it creates a smooth, uninterrupted cooking surface that lets you slide heavy pots and pans from burner to burner without lifting, making multi‑dish meals easier and safer. At the heart of this cooktop is an impressive 18,000 BTU Quick Boil burner that delivers intense heat for rapid boiling, high‑heat searing, and fast stir‑frying, giving you restaurant‑level power that many standard 30" cooktops simply can’t match. Balancing that strength is a dedicated low simmer burner, engineered to provide gentle, consistent heat that’s ideal for melting chocolate, reducing delicate sauces, or keeping soups warm without scorching, so you can handle both powerful and precise cooking on the same surface.
Thoughtfully designed Backlit LED Knobs add a premium touch while enhancing safety and convenience; they illuminate clearly when a burner is on, providing an at‑a‑glance visual cue that helps prevent accidental gas left on and makes it easier to see your settings in dim lighting. The recessed Spill Safe® Cooktop design helps contain everyday splatters and boil‑overs, so messes stay on the cooktop instead of running across your counters, and cleanup is further simplified with removable, dishwasher‑safe burner caps that let you restore a like‑new look with minimal effort. With five sealed burners arranged for maximum flexibility, you can simmer on the back, sauté in front, and use the powerful center burner for large stockpots or family‑size skillets, all at once.
For added peace of mind during installation, the Frigidaire® Fit Promise helps ensure this 30" model will fit your existing cutout, reducing the worry and extra cost that can come with replacing an older cooktop. Approved for installation over compatible single electric wall ovens, the FrigidaireGCCG3048AS is an ideal choice for both remodels and new builds, offering a smart blend of power, precision, and style that elevates everyday cooking into a more efficient and enjoyable experience.
