The sleek stainless steel KitchenAid KXW9748YSS canopy hood, commercial-style series ventilation system, is a stylish way to eliminate smoke, odor, grease, and excessive heat from the kitchen environment. This beautiful appliance does more than merely freshen the kitchen air; it also offers warming lamps, and halogen lighting to increase cooktop visibility.
 
This beautiful 48-inch, commercial-style wall-mount canopy hood requires a 600 CFM or 1200 CFM motor (not included) for internal or inline installation. The proper motor will allow you install this ventilation hood over almost any cooktop.
 
The commercial-style KXW9748YSS offers a high 108K BTU threshold. This high-heat threshold allows for installation over commercial style ranges and cooktops, as well as household cooktops. Plus, this ventilation system can with stand high-heat cooking methods for long periods of time.
 
When the hood is turned off, heat sensor automatically turns on to the highest setting. If the sensor were to detect excessive heat, the ventilation system would automatically turn on to freshen the kitchen air.
 
If you want the fan set on a lower speed, this hood offers a 3-speed sliding control. Once the fan is switched on, the automatic sensors will turn off, giving you complete control over the fan speed. The hidden design of the control panel prevents the sleek, smooth design from being interrupted to control the fan, lights, and warming lamps.
 
This ventilation hood also offers convenient, easy to use food warming lamps. These warming lamps will keep food warm until the rest of the meal is ready to be served. The best part about the warming lamps is they do not overcook, and burn foods the way the cooktop or oven can.
 
The halogen lighting provides a soft natural lighting over the entire cooktop, significantly increasing the visibility. Increased visibility allows you see everything that is taking place on your cooktop. You will never burn pancakes, or overcook an omelet again!
 
To make this KitchenAid canopy hood even better, it is easy to clean. It features premium commercial-style baffle filters, that are dishwasher safe, durable, and capture more steam, grease, and odors than standard filters. When the filter is removed, place it in the dishwasher to be washed and sanitized. While it is running through the dish cycle, grab a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap to wipe down the exterior of the ventilation hood.
