The ThermadorSGSX365TS 36" gas cooktop brings professional‑level performance and a refined, low‑profile look to your kitchen, making it an ideal upgrade for serious home cooks who want both power and precision in a compact footprint. At 36 inches wide, it offers generous cooking real estate with five burners thoughtfully arranged to accommodate everything from oversized stockpots to delicate saucepans, so you can manage multiple dishes at once without crowding. At the heart of this cooktop are Star® Burners, a distinctive five‑point design that sets Thermador apart from typical round burners by delivering more flame ports and more even heat distribution across the bottom of your cookware, helping to reduce cold spots and speed up cooking. The powerful 16,000 BTU center burner gives you the high heat you need for rapid boiling, intense searing, and wok cooking, yet the cooktop is equally impressive at the opposite end of the spectrum thanks to its ExtraLow® simmer technology on select burners, which cycles the flame on and off to maintain ultra‑low temperatures ideal for melting chocolate, holding sauces, or gently simmering delicate recipes without scorching. Continuous cast‑iron grates span the full width of the surface, creating a stable, level platform that lets you slide heavy pots from one burner to another with ease instead of lifting, while the sealed burner design and smooth stainless‑steel base simplify cleanup by helping contain spills on the surface. An electronic re‑ignition system automatically reignites the flame if it goes out, adding an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind during busy cooking sessions. Finished in sleek stainless steel with front‑mounted control knobs, the SGSX365TS integrates seamlessly into a wide range of kitchen styles, from contemporary to transitional, and is designed to install over select built‑in ovens for a cohesive, space‑efficient cooking station. With its combination of patented Star® Burner technology, ExtraLow® simmer control, a high‑output center burner, and full‑width continuous grates, this ThermadorSGSX365TS cooktop delivers a premium cooking experience that stands out from many standard gas cooktops in its class.
