Bring true pro-kitchen capability home with the VikingVGIC53626BSS range, a 36-inch freestanding gas powerhouse designed for cooks who want serious heat, precise control, and an oven that performs as confidently as the cooktop. At 36" wide with a generous 5.1 cu. ft. oven capacity, this range is built to handle everything from weeknight sheet-pan dinners to multi-rack holiday baking without feeling cramped. What sets this model apart from many similarly sized professional-style ranges is its restaurant-inspired open-burner platform, delivering fast response and strong, direct flame performance across six burners—ideal for high-heat searing, rapid boiling, and confident pan control when you’re juggling multiple dishes at once.
In the oven, Gourmet-Glo™ infrared broiling adds a standout advantage: intense, focused heat that helps caramelize and finish steaks, chops, and vegetables with the kind of top-down sear home broilers often struggle to achieve. For baking and roasting, the convection system is engineered to promote more even heat circulation, helping cookies brown more consistently and roasts cook more uniformly, while specialized convection modes expand what you can do beyond standard bake. Everyday usability is also elevated with SureSpark™ ignition, designed to help keep burners reliably lit and ready when you need them, and VariSimmer™ control for low, steady heat that’s especially valuable for delicate sauces, melting chocolate, or holding soups at a gentle simmer without scorching.
From its professional styling in stainless steel to its heavy-duty, continuous-grate cooking surface that lets you slide cookware smoothly from burner to burner, the VikingVGIC53626BSS is a premium centerpiece that’s as functional as it is striking—built for ambitious home chefs who want commercial-inspired performance without leaving their kitchen.
