The LG™ LMP1171SS is a dual-purpose countertop oven for microwaving and baking. This 1.1 cubic foot (cu. ft.) stainless steel oven provides 1000 watts of output power and up to 1400 watts for baking pizza. Its LED touch control panel is the gateway to ten cooking power levels, as well as automatic reheating and defrost. The LG™ LMP1171SS microwave provides users with the opportunity to cook without heating up a whole conventional oven to do so.

Due to its dual-purpose character, users must be sure to place the LG™ LMP1171SS on a countertop space with adequate ventilation space for warm air. This is true of all microwaves, but it is imperative when the bottom deck of the LG™ LMP1171SS reaches higher temperatures associated with baking.

The LG™ LMP1171SS control panel is a simple keypad with designated settings for baking or cooking with the option of easily adding time (in ten-second increments) if needed. However, the LMP1171SS's ten power settings are capable of cooking everything from fish, poultry and meat at the high end to warming of dishes at the bottom. With its power capacity, the LG™ LMP1171SS microwave can make almost any type of meal in 16 minutes or less - at least, any meal that can fit within its internal cavity space: 37-23-34 cm.

Then, there's the pizza experience. The LMP1171SS comes with a pizza oven pan, and this microwave adjusts cooking times for fresh or frozen fare. There is a handy drawer at the bottom just for pizzas. Therefore, users can save on the potentially messy cleanup which can occur when using a main oven. Yet, this model still fits easily in modern countertop spaces below cupboards.

Bakers can utilize four temperature settings designed to make easy work of frozen foods, potatoes, cookies and biscuits. To that end, owners can use multiple cookware materials in this LG™ microwave: china, plastic and even paper (napkins, plates are waxed paper). However, users must avoid placing any form of metal, wood or brown paper into this countertop microwave oven, as well as Corning Centura and Corelle tableware.   

The 1.1 cu. ft. LG™ LMP1171SS stainless steel microwave oven is a practical and versatile alternate to conventional ovens. It comes with a one-year manufacturer's warranty on parts and labour and a five-year extended warranty on Magnetron.
