The 21 ¼-inch GE JES1145WTC countertop microwave is a nice addition to household kitchens. Its electronic touchpad control panel makes setting the power level and programming the cooking time quick and easy.

This counter top GE microwave fits in a space that is 21 ½-inches x 11 ¾-inches x 15 ¾-inches. The GE JE1145WTC takes up a small amount of counter top space, leaving you more room for meal preparation. When you open the left swing door, a 1.1 cubic foot capacity cavity with 12 4/5-inch glass turntable is exposed. GE designed the interior of this microwave to accommodate full plates of food with ease.

The glass turntable rotates your food around the microwave cavity in a circular motion during the cooking process. This constant motion promotes even cooking results while preventing hot and cold spots from affecting the microwave’s cooking performance. Thanks to the glass turntable you foods will be cooking evenly from the center to the edges.

GE gives you full control over the cooking process with 10 power levels. The power levels provide you with the flexibility you need to cook any meal accurately. You can cook anything from frozen dinners to refrigerator casserole dishes and even reheat coffee.

If you decide during the cooking time that the dish need an additional 30 seconds, you can solve this problem with the push of a button. The electronic control panel offers an add 30 seconds button, so you can add 30 seconds anytime during the cooking process without having to stop, and reset the cooking time.

GE did not stop there; you can also cook popcorn, reheat dishes, heat beverages, and defrost frozen item with the push of the button. The JES1145WTC offers four instant-on buttons, eliminating guesswork from the microwave cooking. In addition to the instant-on controls, this microwave also offers 4 preset meal options.

As a convenient bonus, this microwave offers a kitchen timer. The kitchen timer allows you to time items on your cooktop, in the oven, or for anything else that you need to time.

GE did not forget the importance of safety that is why they equipped this microwave with a child lock. The child lock prevents the microwave from being turned on for unintended use, so you do not have to worry about your children turning on the microwave when you step out of the room.
