One of the premium features of this vent hood is auto speed sensing that adjusts fan speed to help protect cabinets from potentially harmful steam, grease, and odors. The sharp, glass-touch display showcases easy-to-use touch controls.

Overview

This KitchenAid 36-inch canopy vent hood does a great job venting away strong odours, steam, and grease so you can protect your kitchen surfaces. It features auto speed sensing, touch controls, and a powerful 600 CFM motor with 65K BTU threshold.

  • The vent features a 600 CFM motor and 65K BTU threshold so it can be installed over any KitchenAid 36- or 30-inch range or cooktop, as well as some commercial-style surfaces up to 65K BTU
  • The perimeter ventilation system pulls air from the edges of the hood and increases the speed of air in the centre, which enhances the venting effectiveness
  • The Auto Speed setting automatically sets the fan speed depending on how much heat is being produced
  • Use the LED task lights to clearly illuminate the masterpiece dish you're putting together
  • With halogen night lights you can enjoy a soft accent lighting in the kitchen when you're not cooking
  • The vent comes with 3-speed electronic glass touch control with boost function, which gives you visual feedback on the settings you've selected; it can also provide timed, short bursts of high-speed venting when you're using high-temperature cooking techniques
  • The commercial-style, long-lasting baffle filters effectively filter grease and are dishwasher safe
  • The vent's Whisper Quiet System operates at 49 dBA at low speed so you can turn it on and not interfere with any nearby conversations (maximum speed sound level is 63 dBA)
  • It's easy to convert this vent to an in-line blower installation for even more quiet performance (metal box required, not included)
