This 29-inch electric dryer features an extra-large 7.0 cubic foot capacity drum to evenly dry even the largest of loads. You can achieve a thorough dry on up to two full laundry basket of clothes, or a king size comforter, without running a second cycle. To ensure you receive the best drying performance possible, the Maytag YMEDC300BW is equipped with the GentleBreeze drying system with IntelliDry® Sensor.

The GentleBreeze drying system and IntelliDry® Sensor work together to quickly and efficiently dry up to 16 pounds of clothes with consistent results. As the clothing moves around the dryer drum, air moves in a counter-clockwise motion to achieve a complete dry. To ensure the load is dried completely, the IntelliDry® Sensor uses two moisture strips to measure and monitor the moisture levels in the dryer drum. When the sensor detect the clothes are dry, the dryer is stopped automatically. Stopping the dryer when the clothes are dry saves time and money, while prolonging the lifespan of your clothes.

Maytag gives you the ability to customize your drying experience with the YMEDC300BW Centennial dryer offers 14 cycles. The 14 cycles include 10 minute air dry, 30 minute air dry, energy preferred, heavy duty, less dry, more dry, normal, timed dry 20, timed dry 30, timed dry 40, timed dry 50, timed dry 60, and timed dry 70.

This laundry unit offers an end of cycle signal, 4 temperature settings, and 3 dryness levels. The 4 temperature settings include high, low, and medium. Its dryness levels offer less, more, and normal.

For added fabric care, the YMEDC300BW features a wrinkle control option. The wrinkle control option minimizes wrinkles by providing a longer unheated tumbling time at the end of the cycle. To take wrinkle care a step further, fabrics will stay wrinkle-free for up to 60 minutes.

When you open the right swing door, an interior light illuminates the dryer drum. The additional lighting ensures you do not leave clothing items, such as socks, in the bottom of the dryer.
