The microwave holds 1.4 cubic feet, while the bottom oven holds 4.3 cubic feet.


As with many KitchenAid™ models, the KEMS379BSS digital control panel stretches across the entire top of the appliance. However, the whole panel is really two: one on the left for the microwave; the other on the right for main convection oven. The "Tools" menu contains nine hidden functions within the electronic oven control: temperature conversion (Fahrenheit and Celsius); sound (on-off); end tone (on-off); sound (high-low); calibration; Sabbath mode; turntable (on-off); language; and, demonstration mode.
