The fully-integrated LG LDF8874ST dishwasher installs flush with your current cabinetry cutout. Its built-in installation creates an upscale, premium look that is sure to please even the pickiest home designers. LG enhances the style of this unit even further with the hidden SmoothTouch controls with LED display.

 

To access the hidden control panel, the stainless door must be open slightly. The electronic control panel is easy to use, ultra-responsive, and easy to read with the LED display. When the door is closed, the control panel is hidden, keeping the buttons out of sight for uninterrupted look. Not to mention, the concealed control panel prevents children from playing with the buttons during the wash cycle.

 

The LG LDF8874ST features a large 15-place setting capacity with EasyRack™ Plus system, with 3rd level rack. All three racks are height adjustable, offering the following accommodations:

• The lower rack offers a 14-inch height limit.
• The upper rack offers a 12-inch height limit.
• The 3rd rack offers enough room to accommodate utensils and espresso cups.

 

The lower rack also features a 3-in-1 detachable cutlery basket. This silverware basket allows you move the caddy to different positions or separate into separate compartments for additional loading space.

 

LG gives you completely control over the wash performance of the LDF8874ST with six wash cycles and four wash options. The wash cycles include steam auto, steam heavy, steam delicate, steam dual control, normal, and quick & dry. Its wash options offer extra rinse, sanitary rinse option, delay wash (up to 19 hours), and child lock.

 

With the advanced TrueSteam™ technology, you can skip pre-washing the dishes. The built-in TrueSteam™ generator sprays a stream of steam onto the load, loosening and lifting dried-on, baked-on foods. This powerful steam system is gentle to clean fragile items, such as stemware and China.

 

LG designed the LDF8874ST with better water coverage than other brands, with the multi-level water direction. The multi-level water direction wash system features sprayer jets on each level. With the varying levels of sprayer jets, you can take advantage of the variable spray intensities. Variable spray intensities allow different intensities levels on each dish rack.

 

This LG features the innovative LoDecibel™ quiet operations. With this sound insulation system, noisy vibrations are kept to a low 42 dBA preventing you and your family from being disturbed during the wash cycle.

 

As a bonus, LG equipped the LDF8874ST with the advanced overflow detector. The overflow detector use built-in sensors to monitors the water level in the wash tub. If a leak or excessive amount of water is detected, the unit will shut down automatically and begin to drain.
